Dr. Ankur Chand is a highly accomplished Diagnostic and Interventional Radiologist with a distinguished academic and professional background. He began his medical journey with an MBBS from the renowned Seth G.S. Medical College & K.E.M. Hospital, Mumbai, where he laid a strong foundation in clinical medicine. Building on this, he pursued an MD in Radiodiagnosis from the prestigious Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, where he excelled and was awarded the Gold Medal for his outstanding performance. Dr. Chand has consistently demonstrated excellence in diagnostic imaging and image-guided interventions, earning recognition for his expertise and commitment to patient care.

With global certifications including the FRCR (UK) and EDiR (Europe), Dr. Chand brings international expertise to SPARSSH IMAGING & DIAGNOSTICS. He has honed his skills at renowned institutions such as the Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore, and Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital, Varanasi, serving as Senior Resident and later as Assistant Professor. Currently, he is associated with Shree Narayan Medical Institute in Saharsa as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology.

Dr. Chand has performed thousands of ultrasound and CT-guided procedures, including biopsies, FNACs, percutaneous drainages, and pigtail catheter placements. His diagnostic acumen spans across multiple modalities like 2D/3D/4D/5D ultrasound, elastography, fetal and neurosonography, colour Doppler, and advanced CT imaging. His specialization in oncology imaging, neuroimaging, and vascular studies reflects his deep understanding of complex clinical scenarios.
